Cameron's Lesson in Continental Conspiracies

British Prime Minister, David Cameron's blind stupidity over the EU was summed up by one sentence from his own mouth, last Friday afternoon, at his conference to the British press following the European Council meeting, as reported by the Daily Telegraph, linked here, which was as follows:

"I won't lie, it is immensely frustrating sometimes the way this organisation works,"
The fact that the EU operates in this manner cannot come as any surprise to any informed or competent Prime Minister of the UK after more than forty years of our immersion in, and bankruptcy by, this multinational project in duplicity.

This blog, its sisters and forerunner, fully explains the reasons why this is the case, but once again here are the basic essentials. Britain is lucky by not being a victim of long-standing historical land borders with foreigners and the disputes they invoke. To compensate for the difficulties such cause, a complicated pattern of conspiracy anf deceit becomes the norm in Continental transnational dealings, such have always underpinned the Common Market, EEC and what is today the EU.

In the process many of our politicians have become simililarly corrupted.

Britain has no business within the EU, Brexit is an urgent necessity and Cameron is unfit as PM if last week's sudden realisation of these truths does not lead him forthwith to that conclusion!

Is Palace of Westminster now just 1 more EU Institution of 28 similar?

A speech was made by ECB Chief Mario Draghi to Committees of the French Parliament, its National Assembly, yesterday morning in Paris. It is linked from here and at its end included the following startling passage:

But Banking Union is not the only example of where closer union is needed. Ultimately, the euro area needs to be drawing closer in all fields of economic policy.
The recent call from the leaders of France and Germany for closer economic union shows that this message is being understood. But it is important that form is fully aligned with substance. In my view, a true economic union means three things.
First, it means every country ensuring its national economy functions properly, without external imbalances and high unemployment. We cannot have a strong economic union without strong national economies.
Second, it means transferring some sovereignty over decision-making to the European level – accepting decisions that are made for the good of the euro area as a whole, even if, at that moment in time, individual countries may disagree with them.
Third, it means applying the same rules to all members of monetary union. This is not only a condition of fairness between countries, but also a pre-condition for deeper integration. Only if there is trust that each member will play by the rules can a union of mutual solidarity become possible.
For these reasons, moving towards closer economic union also requires an equivalent deepening of political union. Greater authority at the European level must be matched by greater democratic legitimacy. And here both the European Parliament and national parliaments have a key role to play.
As Herman van Rompuy has reminded us, national parliaments have become EU institutions.

I had missed that earlier quote from Van Rompuy, but no matter, such coming from the head of the power hungry EU Council has come to be expected, from Draghi, delivered to the second most important Parliament within the EU, however, it marks a major turning point.

The following description of Draghi, also posted yesterday morning by John Ward of The Slog, is perhaps well worth reading and dwelling upon at this point, click here.

The riciculousness and pettiness of what the House of Commons has become was well on display throughout yesterday, as may be read in Hansard! After the childish knockabout of PMQs, a statement on spending after the next General Election and some points of order, the day was taken up by the EU project and complete waste of money, the HS2. Read here if you have nothing better to do!

Any with a vote for the UK Parliament has now some serious thinking to do! Arguments that this is merely a Euro Group project will not wash any more!

Are we really going to allow our democracy to be handed over to the likes of these people without complaint or resistance?

Rail projects underscore EU "Something 4 Nothing" STUPIDITY

All countries laying High-Speed Rail Tracks on EU designated lines do so in the belief they get more than they pay for! Impossible is it not?

Yet that is the underlying philosophy of the entire corrupt and increasingly obscene EU!

Here are the latest pictures of the desecration, close to my home, for the Tours to Bordeaux LGV link, on top of a fast route already existing from Bordeaux to Paris (at the expense of billions of euros in a deficit exploding French economy), while no direct rail link exists to Lyon and points west east (corrected; 30/6 thanks Brian)  from Bordeaux, which will still require a train change near Paris or perhaps even more absurdly in future even Brussels. A likliehood realistic only because of the centralising nature of the EU tyranny which becomes ever more evident!

Britain MUST Halt the similar HS2 being pursued by the UK Coalition Government itself in pursuit of the dangerous EU fantasy that all can get more out than they put in.

G4 Fast internet connections make much of such travel for private enterprises unnecessary. It's only bureaucrats and eurocrats who can afford the time and expense to go by train in the 21st century. EU Citizens will have rightly withdrawn support and funds for such madness before the first train runs on this track in my view.

Death throes of the Troika - But what next?

El Pais last evening, reported the coming end of the Troika of the EU, IMF and ECB linked here.

The austerity overseeing grouping which solely exists to pointlessly try to save the always doomed EU Common Currency, the now detested Euro, is still busily about its business as may be seen from these reports of this morning, on Portugal here, Greece here and Ireland last weekend, here.

Throughout May 2010 it was obvious to most thinking people that the Euro was doomed, read the multiple posts from the archives of this blog by clicking for that month on this blog's side bar or from here.

So what should be done with those utter incompetents, so negligently responsible. That is for each sovereign nation, bankrupted by these wildly irresponsible errors, to decide in my opinion. All EU Member States are now effectively bankrupt as a consequence of these nincompoops stupidity!

In Britain's case, as a change of Government occurred in the midst of the relevant Ecofin meetings which to remind readers delivered the EFSM among subsequent woes, all three main political party leaders and financial bigwigs were directly involved, so hopefully we can rid ourselves of the lot of them!

Snowden tells Britons nothing new on GCHQ!

Sir Ken Macdonald, QC, Director of Public Prosecutions, in his farewell lecture on 2àth October 2008, set out the realities of the present surveillance society absolutely clearly. A link to a report of this speech is here while  a crucial portion of what he said on "Terror" was the following:

As I near my conclusion, let me, in my final public speech as DPP, repeat my call for level headedness and for legislative restraint in an age of very dangerous movements.
We need to take very great care not to fall into a way of life in which freedom's back is broken by the relentless pressure of a security State.
Over the last thirty years technology has given each of us, as individual citizens, enormous gifts of access to information and knowledge. Sometimes it seems as if everything in the world is at our fingertips and this doubtless has made our lives immeasurably richer.
But technology also gives the State enormous powers of access to knowledge and information about each one of us. And the ability to collect and store it at will. Every second of every day, in everything we do.
Of course modern technology is of critical importance to the struggle against serious crime and, used wisely, it can and will protect us.
But we need to understand that it is in the nature of State power that decisions taken in the next few months and years about how the State may use these powers, and to what extent, are likely to be irreversible. They will be with us forever. And they in turn will be built upon.
So we should take very great care to imagine the world we are creating before we build it. We might end up living with something we can't bear.

Gordon Brown, incumbent Prime Minister, ignored this warning and proceeded to gather all he could, as Snowden has now confirmed. Cameron has continued down that path.

A surfeit of "Sigint" seems to lead to madness. How else to explain Brown's last months in Downing Street and the clearly deranged proposals, backed by Cameron, Clegg, Hague Obama and much of the British Cabinet, to play with a proposal of arming jihadists in Syria?

Those wishing to go deeper into the dereliction of duty by all three main British political parties in setting up an effective fascist police surveillance state should read "GCHQ" by Richard J Aldrich, ISBN 978-0-00-727847-3

How we can ever emerge from this disaster, as Mr Macdonald in his prescient speech states, is probably now not possible. Perhaps Australia and Canada, where my grandchildren will hopefully grow up and live, can learn this dreadful lesson in time!

Three Letters which spell out TREASON

I have received the following from Anne Palmer, which is quite clear and in my opinion deserves as wide a circulation within the UK as is presently possible:

§§§§§§

My three letters to the PM and the one reply to all three letters.   I am sending these round because this affects you all and future Generations. Your Prime Minister went out to Australia and asked each member of the Commonwealth about these changes yet never even mentioned any of them to the people in his own Country that these changes make a direct difference to.

To.The Rt Hon David Cameron MP
10 Downing Street
London SW1A 2AA
United Kingdom
20. 2.2013.

Dear Prime Minister,

RE: The Succession to the Crown Bill.

This Bill has already been put to every Realm in the Commonwealth for which Her Majesty is Head of State, with the matter having been debated in the House of Commons which for now lodges temporary with Members of Parliament. I understand it is presently in the House of Lords.

I therefore wish to suggest, that as it allegedly proposes changes to Parliament’s foundational Declaration and Bill of Rights, that the People of this United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland must be consulted as to any changes to this great Statute – for indeed it is their Bill of Rights 1689. The Bill of Rights, as I am sure you are aware, cannot be changed otherwise. Yet this proposed Bill, as I understand it, changes Nine (9) parts of our long standing Common Law Constitution. There is absolutely no need for any changes to our Constitution at this moment in time for there are two other people in line to the Throne and the next in line has not even been born yet.  The two codiciles at the end of the Bill of Rights make very clear indeed that no alterations to the Bill may be permitted.

The Bill of Rights 1689, the Act of Settlement, the Union with Scotland Act 1706, the Coronation Oath Act 1688, the Princess Sophia’s Precedence Act 1711, the Royal Marriages Act 1772, the Union with Ireland Act 1800, the Accession Declaration Act 1910 and the Regency Act 1937.

I quote from the Lords; “In many ways, this Bill is akin to an international treaty and it is incumbent on us to give this legislation detailed consideration of what I hope is a Bill with a clear purpose. This is not just to assure ourselves that the law is sound, but also to consider that these changes will be brought into effect in lands beyond our borders, lands that are tied together by a common history and monarch through the Commonwealth.”

As the proposed new legislation to change the alterations to this Bill have been sent all around around the world without the people of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland being informed and before it was even put to Members of the Commonwealth, I submit that the people should indeed have their say. Whether they would agree to all the proposed changes to all nine parts of their Constitution is another matter all together, but it really is up to them -- for the People of this Country must be allowed to express their view in this great matter of State.

From the Bill of Rights. II. And be it further declared and enacted by the authority aforesaid, that from and after this present session of Parliament no dispensation by _non obstante_ of or to any statute or any part thereof shall be allowed, but that the same shall be held void and of no effect, except a dispensation be allowed of in such statute, and except in such cases as shall be specially provided for by one or more bill or bills to be passed during this present session of Parliament.
III. Provided that no charter or grant or pardon granted before the three and twentieth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred eighty-nine shall be any ways impeached or invalidated by this Act, but that the same shall be and remain of the same force and effect in law and no other than as if this Act had never been made. End of quotes

I beg you, Mr Cameron, not to alter any part of our long standing Common Law Constitution that so many gave their lives for in World War II.  THEY died in order to keep their own Common Law Constitution rather than be ruled by foreigners at that time.  We could not control whoever became leaders in other Countries then, and we cannot control who becomes leaders in other Country’s now. Our own Constitution is protected of course by the Treason Acts which are there constantly to protect our old and rather strange Common Law Constitution, our Constitution that has remained ever thus because twice the people have fought and died to keep it.  I know what that last war was like Mr Cameron because I was in it. The old people on the Continent of Europe could perhaps tell you what it was like living under a Dictator they couldn’t get rid of.

There is absolutely no need to change any part of our Constitution at present.  The Duchess may well have a boy anyway, and our Queen is a perfect example that there is absolutely no problem to change any part of our Constitution at all.   I beg you, please think again, for I do not want to see the people have to fight for their freedom ever again.  Once was enough, and this is why our Constitution as it stands at present must remain so.

Yours most sincerely,  Anne Palmer. Address removed

As I had no reply, I wrote another letter.  Please note the dates of my LETTERS-all before it became an ACT.

To
The Prime Minister the Rt Hon Mr Cameron
10 Downing Street,
London
23 March 2013.

Dear Prime Minister,

Regarding the Succession to the Crown Bill

There are many concerns regarding the proposal to put through the above Bill.  First and foremost of course is the proposal to alter our long standing Common law Constitution that has lasted for over 600 years.  The people of this Country fought two World Wars to keep our way of life and in particular our Common Law Constitution.

The proposed changes are absolutely contrary to Her Majesty’s Oaths she made at Her Coronation.  Most people watched that Coronation all day long-as did I- on what was then, a black and white Television.   I understand that what is proposed now is indeed contrary to the solemn Oaths Her Majesty made on that long day, she cannot take part in what is proposed and placed Her Prerogative with Her loyal and true Government Ministers.  However, as Her Majesty’s Ministers also make loyal Oaths  before they may take up their seats in the House of Commons, even though some of the people have freely voted for them, they may not take their seats until their sworn Oath is read out loud,  Therefore I suggest none of the proposed changes in the above Bill can be passed or acted upon for the reason below.

Even as MP’s step forward in the House of Commons to place their hand on the Bible and swear the Oath, that Oath ends with the words , "ACCORDING TO LAW". This is the Executive ECHOING the Queen's own Coronation Oath. There are TWO OATHS operative here, to protect the nation and the people. The Queen's Oath, and the Oath of her Executive to her. They are interlocking oaths to respect the RULE OF LAW at all times.

I question whether, as each and everyone of us here in the United Kingdom, especially those that were born here, from the moment of birth it is as though they had made that Oath, for from the moment in this Her Majesty’s Realm, it is as if they have already said that Oath for they have the protection of the Crown from that very moment.   Though some of us make other solemn Oaths as Magistrates, Police, MP’s etc each of us make them to the British Crown, yet none of us can accept or change what her Majesty so swore on that very special day when she became Queen. We cannot accept any of the proposed changes. Prince Charles also made certain commitments when he became Prince of Wales.

To even put the proposals in the Succession to the Crown Bill is completely wrong, and it is putting our Monarch and the next in line to the Crown in impossible positions.   Our Monarch cannot agree to any of these changes because of the very Oaths she made at Her Coronation.  Although I am aware that, “No Parliament may bind another” whilst that may be a matter of fact, that applies to day to day matters, but the Oath is of course part of our long standing Common Law Constitution and it is indeed long standing because of the wars fought to keep it ever thus.

Parts of Our Constitution may not indeed be altered or passed over.  Too many died in the protecting of them rather than allow foreigners to force their Constitutions upon us.  We cannot change our Constitution like those on the Continent because they were able to create new Constitutions after the last war.

Also made clear is that the use of the Prerogative Power may not be subversive of the rights and liberties of the subject. (See case of Nichols v Nicholes, “Prerogative is created for the benefit of the people and cannot be exercised to their prejudice”)  The Bill of Rights 1689 is a declaration of Common law. It is also an operative statute and it contains the Oath of Allegiance, which is required by Magna Carta to be taken by all Crown servants including members of the Armed Forces, MP's and the Judiciary. They are required also to "take into consequence anything to the detriment of the subjects liberties”.  The Monarch is constitutionally bound to respect the Common Laws, which are recognised in Magna Carta and declared in the Bill of Rights and so bound by Her Majesty's Coronation Oath. The Royal Prerogatives of the Crown and Parliament were set by Common Law and cannot be lawfully infringed by them.  Each British Subject from the moment they are born here in the UK is bound by an Oath of Allegiance to the Crown and this country, just as if that person has declared so out loud.

Two codicils at the end of the Bill of Rights.

We know-without doubt, a female can become Queen, for we have had two Queen Elizabeth's and one Queen Victoria. But I suggest that perhaps the real reason why the changes to our Constitution are so desired is to fit in with the EU's Equality Act. However, according to R v Thistlewood 1820  , "To destroy the Constitution is treason".  The Treason Acts are for all time, to protect our Constitution. To try to change nine parts of our long standing Common Law Constitution at the whim of “today’s” foreigners, when others gave their lives in two world wars to protect and to keep in tact is sheer treachery and a betrayal of all those that gave THEIR lives for all of us.

I am aware that the “Succession to the Crown Bill”, has already been put to every Member of the Commonwealth for which Her Majesty is Head of State, but they do not have the same long standing Common law Constitution we have, yet they have indeed come to our aid in our hour of need in that terrible World War II.  I doubt very much that some, if any, continental European Country would do the same as those brave members of Her Majesty’s Commonwealth.

Sadly, I have noticed that most, if not all legislation this Government has put through since it came into power started its journey from the European Union, from the EU’s Localism Act to same Sex Marriage, yet I never thought for one minute this Government would ever try to change our Constitution at the whim of an EU dictact or for any other reason either.
The people of this Country cannot accept such deliberate changes to our Constitution that has lasted 600 years and have fought in two World Wars to keep.  The Act of Supremacy 1559 included the words:  "…all usurped and foreign power and authority…may forever be clearly extinguished, and never used or obeyed in this realm. …no foreign prince, person, prelate, state, or potentate…shall at any time after the last day of this session of Parliament, use, enjoy or exercise any manner of power, jurisdiction, superiority, authority, preeminence or privilege…within this realm, but that henceforth the same shall be clearly abolished out of this realm, for ever." Its central intentions live on through the use of almost identical words 129 years later, when The Declaration of Rights of 1688 was written. This, too, is a settlement treaty, and not an Act of Parliament. It too, therefore, cannot be repealed by Parliament.
Having placed the above, can we indeed even contribute financially to a foreign power?  Most Countries in the EU are indeed in financial difficulties quite simply because none have recognised the heavy cost to them in Governance and especially the financial burden.  Financing yet another layer of Government here in the UK, through the EU Regions that have now been set up is yet another reason why this Country is in so much debt.
I wait longingly for the day when those we send to Parliament proudly and freely also uphold their own very long standing Common law Constitution also, ready to fight to keep it as those ordinary people fought so, guided and encourages by one magnificent Prime Minister, one Winston Churchill.
With  respect, Anne Palmer.   Address removed

Dear Prime Minister,

RE: The Succession to the Crown Bill.

I beg you once more not to continue with the “Succession to the Crown Bill”. There is absolutely no need of any alteration especially and more importantly because of European Legislation through the Equality Act, an Act brought about by foreigners.

Those Commissioners in the EU bear absolutely no allegiance to our Monarch, nor to our Country as we here in the United Kingdom of Great Britain do. Anyone born here in the UK, it is as if they have so sworn their solemn Oath of Allegiance to the British Crown from that moment.

Many people in two World Wars gave their lives fighting in those wars for freedom for this Government to be able to govern itself and according to its long standing Common Law Constitution, rather than having foreign constitutional documents forced upon the free people here in the United Kingdom. Many innocent people, children and babies also died in the bombing of this Country for all that this Country and Nation stood for. I was in that Hellish War too Mr Cameron, as was our present Queen, and sadly it can all happen again if you continue to allow foreigners dictate laws even our freely elected Prime Minister must put forward because of the treacherous EU Treaties ratified by others that alters the pattern of even how our long standing Monarchy is deliberately altered through the EU’s Equality Act.

I find it difficult to believe that you would go ahead with these nine (9) proposed changes to this Country’s 600 hundreds year old Constitutional foundation Documents, especially the foundational Declaration and Bill of Rights 1688/9 the latter having two codiciles at the end of the Bill of Rights which makes very clear indeed that no alterations to the Bill may be permitted.

I repeat, there is absolutely no need for any changes to our Constitution at this moment in time for there are at least two other people in line to the Throne and the next in line has not even been born yet, plus it might be a boy anyway. The only “rush” seems to be because of the EU’s Equality Act.

Noted the Nine Changes Here: The Bill of Rights 1689, the Act of Settlement, the Union with Scotland Act 1706, the Coronation Oath Act 1688, the Princess Sophia’s Precedence Act 1711, the Royal Marriages Act 1772, the Union with Ireland Act 1800, the Accession Declaration Act 1910 and the Regency Act 1937.

As the proposed changes required for the above Succession to the Crown Bill have been sent all around the world to the Members of the Commonwealth without the people of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland being informed, I submit that the people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain should also have their say. It is indeed necessary for the Bill of Rights anyway and unlawful otherwise.  Whether the people would agree to all the proposed changes to all nine parts of their Constitution is another matter altogether, but it really is up to them -- for the People of this Country must be allowed to express their view in this great matter of State.

From the Bill of Rights. II.  Repeated quotes removed for ease

We could not control whoever became leaders in other Countries then, and we cannot control who becomes leaders in other Country’s now.  Yet here, if this goes ahead, we are allowing foreigners dictate what even our Monarchy must abide by. Nine alterations to our long standing Common Law Constitution at the behest of foreigners. We went to war in 1939 to prevent having to forcefully obey other people’s orders and Constitutions.  Continental Country’s can now easily alter their Constitutions for those Country’s were over-run, we however cannot Mr Cameron, for the stretch of water between us and the Continent prevented such an invasion.  We gave our all to keep our Constitution as it is at present.  Our own Constitution is protected of course by the Treason Acts which are there constantly to protect our old and rather strange Common Law Constitution, a Constitution that has remained ever thus because twice the people have fought and died to keep it.  I know what that last war was like Mr Cameron because I was in it. The old people on the Continent of Europe could perhaps tell you what it was like living under a Dictator they couldn’t get rid of at that time and sadly, it could happen again.

I beg you, please think again, for I do not want to see the people have to fight for their freedom ever again.  Once was enough, and this is why our Constitution as it stands at present, must remain so.

Yours most sincerely, Anne Palmer.  (Mrs) Address removed
http://europa.eu/legislation_summaries/employment_and_social_policy/equality_between_men_and_women/   Noted, UK Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and later Equality Act 2010. Except that none can ever be equal to our Monarchy. May it always be so.

And here is the reply I have had today 17.6.2013. From the Cabinet Office,  4th Floor (SE) 1 House Guards Rd, London SW1H 2HQ   Dated simply, June 2013.

Dear Mrs Palmer.   Thank you for your recent correspondence to the Prime Minister, David Cameron, on the Succession to the Crown Bill, in particular you believe that the legislation is not required.  I am responding as a member of the team working on Constitutional Reform.  I am sorry for the delay in dealing with this matter, this is due to an administrative error.

You express concerns regarding the Succession to the Crown Bill, as you believe that there is no need to make alteration to the Constitution.  You sustain that changes are not necessary and that changes are being rushed due to the Equality Act.

The Prime Minister announced at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Perth on 28 October 2011 that, with the agreement of the fifteen other Commonwealth realms of which her Majesty is also Head of State, the government would change the rules of royal succession to end the system of male preference primogeniture and the bar on those who marry Roman Catholics from succeeding to the Throne and repeal and replace the Royal Marriages Act 1772.

The government received final agreement from all the remaining Commonwealth Realms in December and the Bill was introduced into the House of Commons shortly after.

Firstly, I would like to point out that changes to the laws of succession are not due to pressure from Europe or from the Equality Act but from a reasonable need to progress and evolve.  The Prime Minister states on 28 October 2011: “The great strength of our constitutional approach is its ability to evolve.  Attitudes have changed fundamentally over the centuries and some of the our-dated rule – like some of the rules to succession – just don’t make sense to us any more.

[…] “   (I do not know what that is supposed to mean.-however, I have put it as it is there in the letter.  Anne)

The Deputy Prime Minister also stated on 22 January 2013 that: “On female succession, the real question that we need to ask is why it has taken us so long.  This is a nation that prises itself on pioneering equality between sexes:  a nation of great Queens such as Queen Victoria and Elizabeth II.  A woman can, and has, been Head of the UK Government, yet still on our statute books, with Parliament’s official backing, we have succession laws based on the supposed superiority of men.  That anachronism is out of step with our society, it sends the wrong message to the rest of the world, and it is time for the rules to change.”

We believe that the government’s commitment to end male primogeniture and the bar on the Monarch and those in the line of succession from marrying a Roman Catholic will end two significant areas of discrimination in the UK.

The Succession to the Crown Bill received Royal Assent on 25th April and became an Act.  It can be found at;

I hope this letter clarifies you concerns,
Yours sincerely  (A squiggle signature)   Constitutional Reform Team.

                              ******************************

My comments and  please note.  I had no reply to my three letters on this subject UNTIL THE BILL BECAME  AN ACT.

They have changed our Constitution in all these parts.  Because this has been allowed to happen NOW, they can do so again and again, or, when the time comes can get rid of every bit of our Constitution to prevent any charges of treason or, just to become Regions of the European Union-forever.  Germany lost the war but won the alleged peace.  Anne

Admiral Byng is best precedent for Mervyn King

I am not suggesting Mervyn King be shot for failing in his functions and duties. I am however suggesting that there is something distinctly odd about his award of a peerage, as I tweeted this morning:

1h
Mervyn King's Peerage. The timing of announcement, its entire separation from any other such award & proximity to birthday honours is ODD!

The Daily Mirror covers the disgraceful financial arrangements also made concerning this wretch, linked here.

The UK is going to need to find a proper way to treat such revolting specimens of humanity that have driven the country into the ground purely for pride and personal gain. There are likely to be thousands such and King seems an ideal starting point as an example and cautionary warning to all the many other greed slathering supposed public servants like this soon to be ex-Governor of the Bank of England. A cautionary example for future public servants and polticians just like the shot Admiral Byng was intended to be for naval commanders.!

I suggest King be stripped of all titles, assets and pensions and be made to live in the meanest council accomodation in the locality of his birth on the basic state old age pension with bus pass and nothing else for the rest of his days!

Euroscepticism becoming a factor in German election?

I apologise for not having been able to post during the past three days.

I have just tweeted the following link which seems hugely significant for the EU. Town Hall Finance

If the AfD eurosceptic party exceeds 5% in the General Election in Germany in September it will become a factor on forming a governing coalition. It therefore bears careful watching.

What the rest of the EU, controlled as they now are from Berlin through Brussels, can now do to affect the vote in Germany and thereby restore the hope for a future return of their own national democracies, is to emphasise to the German voters they might meet of the third disaster in 100 years that German policies now appear to be about to inflict upon their neighbours! That must surely be the outcome SHOULD Merkel, her party and their backers be allowed by German voters to continue on their present course!

German domination of Europe is not acceptable to that country's neighbours nor the world. Just as the Kaiser and Hitler were eventually rebuffed, by dreadful bloodshed, so too will the means be found to negate this 21st century attempt at German economic control and subsequent political domination of all Europe.

Voters of Germany are, certainly for  this year, Europeans' greatest weapon in this endeavour. Ask all ordinary German citizens and voters to re-visit and carefully examine the horrors of the years beginning in 1918 and 1945 before voting this Autumn and thereby somehow kill off this EU!

Britain's Socialists Suffer Huge Electoral Set-Back

The result from a small council election in Southampton yesterday will begin a ses-change in Britain's politics, as posted on Twitter it was as follows:

Woolston, Southampton CC result: LAB 32.34% (-22.76), 27.73%, CON 26.35% (-5.55), TUSC 5.09% (+0.39), LDEM 4.49% (-3.81), GRN 4.00%.

I would imagine that vote will cause a drastic re-think in Britain's Labour Party regarding its strategy over Europe, as described by The Guardian today, linked here.

We Inheritors of Sublime Tradition

Do not be distractacted by the opening of Dan Hannan's brilliant speech in Canada being in french, what then follows is superb:

My paternal grandfather left Clapham in London before 1914 to be a cowboy in Alberta Canada, then enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, to fight the Kaiser and all that man represented for Germany and the resultant misery which was thereafter inlicted upon Europe. I guess I was born English, rather than Canadian, as a result, although as Mr Hannan makes plain, that matters not one jot!

Germany has conqured Europe once again!

What is now being debated in the Constitutional Court of that once again united and thus newly dangerous country, is whether and how those conquests will be handled and dealt with over the coming years.

The potential for aggression and further oppression is fearfully demonstrated in the sudden closure of the Greek state broadcaster this very week.

Other reporters on this topic have not spelt out this reality quite so clearly, some of that comment, eg from Time and The Economist's Charlemagne, is linked.

The direction of the eventual court ruling, while not due for months, will be likely discernible as the general election campaign, now underway, progresses within Germany.

The leaders of the other EU Member States need to immediately halt their studious pretence of being merely disinterested lookers-on.

All Europeans have a vested interest in the outcome of the daily growing horror now surely plainly discernible to all!

Monitoring the Mechanics of Mankind

I didn't do a post yesterday as I had an early morning appoinment at a medical centre in the suburbs of Angoulême.

Some two months ago I received a request advising that I'd been apparently randomly slected and asking if I would be interested in participating in a French State-run study of the health of a cross section of adults. Having responded in the positive a large envelope with several detailed questionaires on work history, lifestyle choices and other generalities arrived in the post. Among the info given was the fact that this survey was intended to include around 200,000 French adults up to the age of 69. I informed the organisers by e-mail, that I did not feel I qualified being English, but was informed I was welcome to participate, so duly went along yesterday morning.

The "Centre d'examen de santé" for the Charente is one of 109 such across the country and processes some 10,000 people a year of which only around 16% turn out to be in good health, read a report on their 40th anniversary in French linked here.

My impression was as of it being a kind of MOT testing station for humans. From a central reception hall and waiting area, individual examination rooms lead off where, blood and urine are first extracted, thereafter sight, sound ECG and other vital functions are monitored and recorded.

Such I pondered, is where the French revolution seems inevitably to have led, aped almost everywhere nowadays by modern mankind. Nowhere in the questions that I had answered at great length was there any mention of the hidden joys that fulfill and enrich our lives, our pets, access to nature and the beauties of the countryside together with its wildlife can bring.

Here, within this purpose built human processing facility, as I waited for one intrusion to follow the next, so the time passed and my blood pressure rose to once again in my lifetime  fulfill and demonstrate Eintsein's well noted dilemma, that the observer effects that which he tries to assess, often with unquantifiable results!

What Business would Adopt an Index run by Euro Group

Look at Greece, the misery and poverty, or Ireland and the mass emigration of its youth - only succeeding in barely maintaining its banks bankrupt and housing market decimated!  How about Portugal, Spain and Italy all examples of negligence on a truly mind-boggling scale delivered by the Euro Currency und European Monetary Union overseen by the Euro Group, with added suffering inflicted by the IMF under two consecutive incopmpetent French politicians and the European Central Bank first under Jean-Claude Trichet, survivor of the Credit Lyonnaise debacle and most recently the Italian manipulator Mario Draghi.

One of its creations was ESMA, based in Paris, read here. This is intended to oversee the markets in the new banking union of the EU, the interests of investors and laughably yesterday was seriously proposed by the EU as providing a replacement for LIBOR.

Absurd as that seems, given the causes of the breakdown of the LIBOR system as well known to most businessmen who daily depend upon its one time impartiality, this proposal is proffered as if it could ever be seriously considered.

The British Government will surely now clearly see that which has been obvious for years, the EU is a construct dedicated to the destruction of the UK economy and all the systems of international commerce which have been built up around the City of London.

Somebody in  Westminster needs to start lobbying to gain cross party support for notice of our withdrawal from the EU under Article 50 (details here).

When under attack no country can afford to delay four years to guage public opinion and frame a suitable response to gunfire. It isn't just LIBOR which governments worldwide neutured in response to Sub-Prime and the Euro Crisis, its the sheer opportunism of our embedded EU enemies in using the criminal opportunism of certain finance traders in exploiting that chaos, to then do down their supposed trading partner and ally!

Coming to terms with the Probable Pointlessness of the D-Day Sacrifices

It is difficult for those of us born during or just after World War Two, and been brought up by parents whose generation had made the greater sacrifice to overthrow the German Nazi tyranny, plus grandparents whose own generation had endured and survived the five years of horrors that were the earlier war also inflicted on Europe by German imperialsim, to now be brought to the increasingly blindingly obvious realisation that all that had been for very little point.

There is no longer an effectively operating "Mother of Parliaments" in Westminster, the pound sterling has been devalued and is produced in worthless billions by equally worthless faux politicians who have no grasp of work, worth or value. Integrity is not just dead but mocked where even solid concepts such as marriage can be twisted to suit the whims and appetites of shallow and essentially stupid individuals.

We have sought to divide  the inseparable by the clever device of abnegation of sovereignty and thereby split sanity from reality by divorcing words and concepts from their meaning. It started with sovereignty, now we pretend marriage can be other than between a man and a woman and that money can be divorced from any inherent value.

If nothing has any value, what point then in any striving to excel let alone even merely achieve a sufficiency. If words can be changed to say whatever the speaker chooses, have we not thereby ended all meaningful communication and made language to become a barrier, rather than an aid to understanding?

And all that wealth of a money sign (£,$ or €)  followed by rows of zeroes as worshipped by those attending the Bilderberg meeting in Watford this week, what has that gained them, when in their heart of hearts, all attending must know that they themselves have rendered such worthless!

China hits back at wine.

The EU chose to pick a trade fight with China over solar panels, somehow the first retaliation over wine, another store of summer sunshine, seems rather fitting.

The report on that retaliation from Reuters is linked here.

My own tweet on the trade war now opening was as follows:

A Royal Promise broken like Pie Crust

A year ago tomorrow morning, I posted the following on this blog. Today the Queen will attend Westminster Abbey for a service of remembrance for 2000 guests. This time she will be forced to confront and consider the Coronation Oath she took 60 years ago last Sunday, the actual date of which awsome commitment she appears keen to avoid. Later this week our real rulers meet in Watford. Will she now ACT?

Crunch time for Queen Elizabeth II of England!

There were incredible scenes in the Mall and on the Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace last evening, culminating in the lighting of the National Beacon, others of which had been lit across the world in Commonwealth member countries throughout the day.

The Queen well deserved the musical tributes delivered last evening, for she has impeccably fulfilled the detail and ceremonial requirements of her role throughout her sixty year reign .

The crunch will come today at St Paul's Cathedral, when she will be expected to renew or at least recall her Coronation Oaths. The situation across the EU today with the crisis in the Eurozone cannot therefore any be longer avoided, or be pretended as not existing.

The loyalty to the Queen, offered so clearly by her millions of subjects and supporters, as demonstrated over this Diamond Jubilee weekend cannot co-exist with the pretence that we still rule ourselves according to our own laws and customs.

We can sink with the rest of the EU alongside the common currency we never joined, or seek an honourable exit saving what we may. The people have every right to look to their Queen to take them in the latter direction according to the solemn oath she swore in Westminster Abbey, sixty years ago!

Balls' bankruptcy of economic ideas

The trailering by Ed Balls and the Labour Party of the concrete measures to handle the nation's grave economic crisis their party largely caused, spread around Twitter last evening, was completely absurd.

According to the BBC, the one concrete move to halt payment of the winter fuel allowance to wealthy pensioners will save considerably less than one  billion pounds. Ridiculous enough, albeit to my mind a significant first step against universal benefits, which is much to be welcomed, where then is Labour's embracing of universal means testing?

This winter, living in France as I do, the EU suddenly made me eligible as a UK pensioner to receive the UK fuel allowance. I wasn't going to claim, but on reading that the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne was claiming as Parliamentary expenses the central heating costs on a farmhouse he owned somewhere or other, I decided so to do and a payment was duly made.

The thought occurs that as I am a non-taxpayer in the UK, could not wealthy UK residents escape to the EU, pay their taxes there and thereby defy this sudden new levy?

Is this yet another example of a purely cosmetic tax adjustment, made entirely for show and doing nothing to address the real grave issues faced by the economy of the country?

The Queen's Coronation and me.

We travelled  by car from "Raleigh Country" in East Devon to Kensington Gardens in London where my grandmother ran a hotel; I was eight years old, my elder sister was eleven; our younger sisters remained behind with my mother. To ease the journey we awarded points to the towns along the way for their various Coronation decorations; Honiton, the first town we passed, won by a mile.

We slept out on the street, as far as I can recall from later knowledge of the West End, we were alongside the RAC Club, where an unfinished stand allowed us to climb higher for a better view of the procession when it finally came. The Mall was packed the night before, with Evening Newspaper hoardings proclaiming the conquest of Everest and large groups loudly singing "How much is that doggy in the window".

A sailor had cut his neck on his bayonet and the blood seeped downwards, the Queen smiled directly at my sister, and the rain stopped when she passed. We just caught the flypast by the RAF over Admiralty arch, as we went down the steps to the Tube at Trafalger Square to return to Gloucester Road.

The bath water I shared with my sister had to be changed three times bfore all the soot had been drained away. Soot stood about four inches high on every ledge of the buildings and their railings where we'd tried to sleep on rubber bathing rings. I was glad I'd gone but was glad to return to Devon!

My paternal Grandfather, who fought with the Canadian Expeditionary Forces, having gone to that Country as a teenager before the war, taught me most of what it meant in those days to be  British, re-inforced by my fiercely monarchy supportive father. That beleif, now re-inforced by the knowledge of the sacfifices of my maternal grandfather ( and those of his brothers) who finished the Great War as a RNAS POW in Holland, is what this Queen has allowed to be sacrificed by following the false advice of many of her ministers in handing our governance to foreigners.

Is the time, 60 years along, perhaps now approaching for that great betrayal to be corrected?

Matthew Parris, Smug Self-Satisfaction Personified

I used to regularly comment to the Matthew Parris column in The Times before it disappeared behind the Murdoch pay wall, I took to adding such comments to the posts on this blog, they may be found by typing that name into the blog search bar at the head of the home page. The following link is to the first such, linked here.

I enjoyed the writing and the often unusual viewpoints offered by Mr Parris, albeit often disagreeing with some of the conclusions being drawn. I considered them the last remains of decent British journalism in the spirit of the likes of W.T. Stead and Bernard Levin! So what then  has apparently poisoned the mind of Mr Parris, to write as he did in The Spectator this week, linked here, regarding the ordinary voters now turning towards the UK Independence Party?

The airwaves and media are full of the latest dirty dealings of a Conservative MP, this time Patrick Mercer, read that of The Independent from here, fittingly on the dateline for that sour article from Matthew Parris.

Just where I wonder, given the characters and pasts of most of the leading members of the Cameron clique, should ordinary voters look for decent representation amongst those politicians who seek to rule them on behalf of avaricious foreigners? Where would Matthew Parris direct them? Was that not why we formed Veritas?  A fresh party, which was ignored by the media and mocked for selecting a known media figure, whose voting record had shown more whip defiance than any other Labour MP!

UKIP has had a difficult past, as must any party trying to break through Britain's first past the post voting system. It has attracted oddballs in its early days but also a wide range of sincere ordinary individuals seeking a better standard of politics and MORE importantly a restoration of the power of our sadly corrupted Parliament.

The sneering of Matthew Parris at such decent ordinary voters does him, and all his future comments, no credit at all!
