David Cameron and dead fish.

Yesterday I blogged about the EU having thrown up their hands in despair over their fisheries non-policy and their own amazing suggestion that matters now be handed back to the member states. This same idea was once Conservative Party policy before the arrival of poster boy, non-EU policies, Cameron. Silence still reigns on the issue from both Government and opposition parties. It is not enough, however, to solely rail against the original treachery, which saw little Norway renege on their negotiated entry to the Common Market at the same time as Britain joined, because their people were asked and they saw that their fisheries would be destroyed. The EU today holds that same country, Norway up as one example of how they themselves should have managed what they consider to be "their" seas. It was all easily foreseeable, after all the extinction of the EU fisheries and an ensuing dispute with Norway was the trigger I used in my novel, written in the mid-nineteen nineties, for the attempted consolidation of totalitarian control over Europe. The steady slaughter and extinction of EU fish has been a constant topic on this blog and elsewhere. The UKIP sent a fishing boat up the Thames to protest at the last European elections - all ignored! What has Cameron done on fish since he wrested control of the party in the farce that was supposedly a fair election. First he appointed a Shadow Fisheries Minister from an inland constituency who was removed after taking some interest in the topic, the following is from the blog EU Referendum, linked here, whose editor Dr Richard North has made himself an acknowledged expert on this ongoing disaster: As Owen Paterson (pictured in right of photo) proved with his consultation paper on fisheries (after witnessing the obscenity of discarding for himself), there is no bar whatsoever to maintaining sustainable fisheries and banning discards. The problem is the EU itself, which insists on quotas as the only fisheries management system that it is capable of operating from Brussels – despite the devastating environmental impact. So where is Owen Paterson today? Shadow for Northern Ireland! Moved along by none other than David Cameron! (Lesson - Do not dare criticise the EU in Dave's Tory Party) Where do the Tories stand today on restoring Britain's fisheries to national control - AS NOW REQUESTED BY THE EU? - nowhere, see this link to their ludicrous policy page on the EU from here. What of their ridiculous campaign for a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty launched today? It is meaningless, headed by a man, William Hague, too busy making money to have aided in the 2005 election campaign, his moral compass distorted by some 180 degrees of magnetic deviation, presumably caused from the base metals from which the filthy lucre he worships is coined! The man who as party leader promised to re-negotiate the Nice Treaty now campaigns for a referendum that with his party's other policies can only serve to put his country back under the control of the Nice Treaty provisions. This is a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, subject to so many provisos which the Conservative Party itself conspires within the EU to obtain and thus ensure it will never take place. Firstly by bullying the Irish; secondly by conspiring to sideline the Czech President at the next June summit and thirdly by relying on the historical imperial ambitions of Germany to overcome the objections, otherwise certain to prevail, in the German Constitutional Court. Even more seriously than hoping to overcome these three main obstacles to what is really the EU Constitutional Treaty, by trying to avoid the dilemma of what they would do about Britain and the EU in the event the Labour Government were to fall before Lisbon Treaty ratification by all other countries, the Conservative Party effectively maintain this incompetent and spendthrift British Government in power as a means of keeping suppressed their own apparently insuperable policy contradictions over Europe. Britain is a non-player in the great events and movements swirling across the Continent because it has been stripped of power by its totally corrupted political class. Want more proof, then consider why the German Chancellor telephoned the British Prime Minister on the morning of the Budget last week, why Prince Charles, our heir apparent being in the Vatican yesterday now moves on to Germany and the implications of the actions of the present day Conservative Party (forgetting if you can the traitor Heath) over our now Dead and even Extinct Fish!
