Anti-Lisbon Treaty protest banned in Latvia

The report is linked here, it states the Riga authorities have refused to accept a plan to stage a protest against the Lisbon treaty on Tuesday during a visit by Jean-Paul Costa, president of the European court for human rights. Latvia was like Britain refused a referendum on whether to accept the potentially tyrannical and certainly anti-democratic Treaty.
